From individual persistence to durable stewardship
The future of the YES Center cannot rest on one person.
Twyla’s persistence kept the building, the collection, and the vision in public view. The next chapter asks more people to take responsibility for making the organization durable—residents, descendants, educators, artists, tradespeople, institutions, volunteers, funders, and the Chester diaspora.
The documentary’s call is practical: Chester can flourish when people come together to rebuild the institutions, businesses, and spaces the city needs.
